Save Organs

Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless.

About Us

Save Organ is a non-benefit organization which is established by Mr. Anjani Kumar Singh who is the very much presumed social Worker from Bihar. The concept of Save Organ is initiated by Mr. Anjani Kumar Singh in the year 2016. He presented  his concept in the year 2016 in the Tata Social Enterprise Challenge a joint initiative with IIM Kolkata which was organized by Bihar Entrepreneur Association(BEA).

According to the research of Times of India and DNA –

  • Almost 1.5 lakh people in India need a kidney; however, only 3000 of them receive one.
  • Only 1 out of 30 people who need a kidney receive one.
  • 90% of people on the waiting list die without getting an organ.
  • India’s annual liver transplant requirement is 25,000, but we manage only about 800.
  • 70% of liver transplants are taken care of by a live donor, but 30% are dependent on cadaver donations.

Our vision is to reduce the dead individuals due to lack of organ donor and encourage every
person to donate his/her organs for social motive.

The mission of saving organ is to increase the number of organs available for transplant. Our focus is on exceeding campaigns to increase donor registration and knowledge of living donation, and, clinical interventions to improve donor management to maximize organs per donor. Identifying successful and replicable practices is an aim of our all grant programs.

Organ Donation in India

In India, a large number of individuals died because of street auto collisions. In any case, just a few individuals that expired because of these conditions can give their organs. As organs should be transplanted as quickly as time permits following the contributor’s death, they must be given by somebody who has passed on in the healing center. More often than not, organs originate from individuals who are confirmed as dead while on a ventilator in a hospital emergency care unit, can be because of a stress, significant disasters like a car crash or stroke.
